The Community College

The Community College offers affordable, inclusive training for adults across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Many programs are supported by NSW Government initiatives such as Smart & Skilled and ACE funding.

We help learners:

  • Gain job-ready skills or upskill in their current roles
  • Build confidence in digital technology, literacy, and life skills
  • Stay connected through social and creative courses
  • Access traineeships and accredited workplace learning
Novo Education

Novo Education is a wellbeing-first school for students in Years 9–12 who need something different. With small classes, one-on-one mentoring, and a trauma-informed approach, Novo supports students to feel safe, learn confidently, and plan for what’s next.

Novo helps young people:

  • Reconnect with learning in a way that works for them
  • Develop pathways to TAFE, uni, or work
  • Build confidence, life skills, and future plans

Partnering to make change happen

WEA Co collaborates with government agencies, local employers, and community organisations to deliver responsive education and training solutions. By working in partnership, we ensure our programs meet local needs, strengthen inclusion, and create lasting positive change.

Our Commitment to Inclusion and Wellbeing

At the heart of all we do is a commitment to making learning accessible and supportive for everyone. We work to remove barriers, adapt to diverse needs, and prioritise learner wellbeing — because education should empower every person to thrive.
